Job Description: Finance Intern

Trilogy Warehouse Partners is seeking a motivated Finance Intern to join their team. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in the finance field.

Position Overview:

As a Finance Intern, you will support the finance team in various tasks related to financial analysis, reporting, and data management. The role emphasizes data-driven decision-making, requiring strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing financial reports and presentations for management: This involves compiling financial data and creating clear, concise reports for internal use.
Conduct data analysis and generate insights to support business decisions: You will be responsible for analyzing financial data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues, and communicating your findings effectively.
Maintain and update financial models using Excel: This requires strong Excel skills, including proficiency in formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization techniques.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes: You will support the creation and maintenance of budgets and forecasts, contributing to the company’s financial planning.
Support month-end close activities and reconciliation processes: This involves assisting with the accounting procedures necessary to close the financial books each month.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data: The role requires interaction with other departments to obtain necessary data for analysis.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Prior experience in finance or accounting (internships and coursework) is a plus but not required.
