Job Description: Cartier FP&A Finance Intern

This is a paid, full-time summer internship (June 2nd – August 8th) in New York, NY, offering a competitive salary of $20-25/hour. The internship is part of a larger program designed to immerse students in the Richemont organization and culture. Interns will be assigned a mentor for guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Cartier Retail Projects Budget: This involves analyzing historical data, identifying trends, and providing insights into future performance.
• Variance Analysis: Analyze differences between actual results and forecasts, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
• Project Tracking & Reporting: Collaborate with business partners to track and report project spending.
• Presentation & Report Creation: Develop presentations and reports for key stakeholders.
• Financial Reporting Automation: Assist in automating financial reports and contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university/college program.
• Prior experience in finance and/or retail is preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI).
• Interest in luxury goods and understanding of the luxury retail market.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and present actionable insights.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Innovative thinking and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Energetic and proactive approach to project assistance.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule during the internship.
• Authorized to work in the United States (international students need a current work visa; Richemont does not sponsor visas for summer internships).
• Must be 18 years or older.
