2027 US Finance Summer Internship Program | Kraft Heinz

The Tone:
This is a 10-week, full-time internship program at Kraft Heinz, located in Chicago, IL. Kraft Heinz is a global food company dedicated to delivering the best taste, fun, and quality through its iconic and emerging food and beverage brands. This program is designed to grow the future leaders of the company, offering an immersive experience to understand the business and industry, collaborate across functions to grow iconic brands, and build a lasting legacy within the organization.

• Mission: Finance Interns identify value-creation opportunities and deliver analytics-driven improvements that strengthen financial performance and decision-making.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Identify value-creation opportunities: Partner with business stakeholders to identify areas for financial improvement across the business.
• Analyze financial performance: Conduct budgeting and forecasting enhancements, profitability and pricing analysis, or cost and productivity initiatives.
• Optimize financial operations: Contribute to working-capital optimization, performance reporting, dashboarding, and finance process automation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with various teams to execute project scopes and deliver results.
• Present project outcomes: Share results through regular updates and a final end-of-program presentation to executive leadership.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with anticipated graduation between December 1, 2027, and June 30, 2029. This is an entry-level finance internship.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to take leadership opportunities and lead through challenges.
• Skills: Innovative thinking, problem-solving, a willingness to challenge the status quo, and the ability to simplify complex concepts.
