The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-person role at Stellantis, a global automaker that designs, engineers, manufactures, and sells a wide range of vehicles and mobility solutions. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of a manufacturing plant by providing essential financial analysis, supporting cost reduction initiatives, and maintaining robust financial controls. The analyst’s work directly informs management decisions and contributes to the overall financial performance of the plant.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly financial results, forecasts, and key performance indicators to identify trends and communicate insights and actionable recommendations directly to management. This also includes preparing accurate and timely month-end close reporting, journal entries, and account reconciliations, ensuring financial integrity.
• Compliance & Coordination: Ensure financial operations adhere to internal controls by performing Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing and actively supporting overall compliance requirements. This involves coordinating closely with corporate finance teams to align with reporting requirements, meet critical deadlines, and contribute to broader financial objectives.
• Operational Partnership & Improvement: Collaborate extensively with cross-functional departments such as Operations, Maintenance, and Quality, to proactively identify opportunities for cost reduction and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
• Process Management: Oversee and manage essential recurring financial processes, including detailed overtime reporting, precise manpower allocations, comprehensive labor analysis, and various other operational reporting requirements crucial for plant efficiency.
• Strategic Support: Contribute to special projects, in-depth financial analyses, and respond to ad hoc reporting requests, supporting the development and execution of Business Plans, Model Year Budgets, and financial planning activities for the manufacturing site.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field. Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of core Finance or Accounting principles and demonstrate a clear willingness to develop a career within Manufacturing Finance.
• Experience: This role is suitable for early career professionals or those with up to 1 year of experience, including student programs or internships. Candidates should be capable of learning how to budget, forecast, and accurately report actuals throughout the monthly close process.
• Skills: Proficient in Google and Microsoft Suites (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint). The ability to learn and adapt to financial systems and reporting tools is key.
• Bonus: An MBA or equivalent advanced degree. 1 year of experience, including student programs or internships, specifically within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in specific financial systems such as SAP and Hyperion Essbase, along with knowledge of a project writing system, would be a significant advantage.
