Finance Intern | ALKU
The Tone:
This is an internship role at ALKU, located in Andover, MA, with a hybrid work model. • Mission: This intern will provide essential financial data compilation, analysis, and reporting to support leadership decisions and revenue growth across ALKU’s business lines.
• Tech Stack: Excel, Tableau, internal systems
What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Prepare weekly financial reports for leadership and revenue teams.
• Analysis: Support the creation of spread summaries and year-over-year performance analyses across business lines.
• Data Management: Consolidate and organize data from various internal systems into clean, digestible formats.
• Support: Assist with data validation, reconciliation, and month-end close reporting to ensure accuracy.
• Collaboration: Partner cross-functionally with accounting, sales, and recruiting teams to gather and clarify necessary financial data.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. This is an entry-level internship position.
• Experience: Strong Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP. Comfortable working with large data sets and spotting discrepancies.
• Skills: Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities, clear written and verbal communication skills, ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines, and a self-starter who takes initiative.
• Bonus: Prior internship or coursework experience in financial reporting or analytics; familiarity with Tableau.
