The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Caterpillar Inc., located in Nashville, TN. Caterpillar is the world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, off-highway diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines, and diesel-electric locomotives. • Mission: Provide broad business experience to enable participants to take on future leadership, senior, or field sales roles.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Complete four, 1-year intentional placements across core business areas such as Credit, Customer Accounts/Relations, Insurance, Lease Services, Sales Support, and Treasury.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of multiple Cat Financial business units through structured rotations.
• Receive high visibility with senior leadership to foster professional development.
• Participate in leadership development courses and formal mentorship programs.
• Engage in leadership, networking, and volunteer opportunities, including corporate responsibility initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, generally within the first 0-2 years of a career in finance.
• Experience: Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale, degree completed by the hire date, domestic mobility, and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Skills: Ability to work independently and collaboratively with employees and customers, knowledge and application of statistical analysis skills, proficiency in office software systems for preparing documents, reports, spreadsheets, and graphics, and strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Bonus: Bi-lingual skills.
