Associate Manager, FP&A and Tax | SC Johnson

• Mission: This person solves P&L management and drives informed decisions for commercial portfolios, while also ensuring strong financial stewardship and compliance for Canadian tax activities.

What You’ll Actually Do
Commercial Partnering: Drive profitable growth and informed decision-making for assigned business and customer portfolios.
Financial Oversight: Own forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis to achieve business and customer objectives.
Month-End Close: Complete P&L activities, including journal entries and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and strong financial controls.
Tax Compliance Leadership: Lead Canadian tax accounting and compliance activities for assigned legal entities.
Tax Operations Management: Prepare tax provision models, coordinate audits, and support indirect and withholding tax activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with a completed CPA designation.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, ideally within consumer packaged goods. Demonstrated experience in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, month-end close, and working knowledge of Canadian corporate tax, accounting, and compliance requirements.
• Skills: Strong strategic thinking, analytical capability, and fact-based problem-solving.
• Bonus: Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Strong interpersonal, business partnering, and communication skills. Experience with SAP, BPC, TPM, or similar financial systems.
