Job Description:
The Disney Entertainment Segment FP&A team is responsible for consolidating the financial performance data from various divisions, including direct-to-consumer, networks, content sales, and licensing. The team actively participates in the daily financial planning for the segment’s central administrative costs. Key responsibilities include:
• Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial results to identify key performance drivers and contributing factors to changes in performance.
• Headcount Planning: Assisting in the planning and management of the segment’s workforce.
• Operational Improvement: Identifying and recommending strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Reporting and Consolidation: Consolidating financial data from various sources and preparing financial reports.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• A curious, motivated, and enthusiastic attitude towards learning.
• A strong interest in the media and entertainment industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• A data-driven analytical mindset.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Business Objects.
• A degree or coursework in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Current enrollment in an accredited college/university (taking at least one class in the spring/fall semester prior to the internship), recent graduation (within 6 months of application), participation in a Disney College Program, or a current Disney Internship.
