The position is designed to provide essential accounting, finance, business analysis, and decision support, translating the company’s business events into its clear financial story and partnering with leaders to drive informed business decisions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide: Deliver essential accounting, finance, business analysis, and decision support directly to operations teams and management.
• Translate: Be responsible for translating complex business events into clear and accurate financial narratives for Phillips 66.
• Partner: Collaborate with business leaders, offering valuable information and insights to guide their strategic and operational decision-making processes.
• Develop: Gain practical experience working with a variety of financial applications and understanding business operations within a collaborative team setting.
• Utilize: Work extensively with key financial systems and tools, including Excel, SAP, and Power BI, to analyze data and support financial integrity.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field of study, with a graduation date in Summer/Winter 2026 or Spring/Summer 2027. This is an early career opportunity for upcoming graduates.
• Experience: Legally authorized to work in the job posting country. Candidates must not require sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future.
• Skills: Strong foundational understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, business analysis techniques, and the ability to contribute to decision support processes.
• Bonus: Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale; currently pursuing a minimum of 6 hours of Accounting coursework; holding a Master’s degree in Accountancy or Finance; prior internship experience with Phillips 66; and a willingness to work from either Houston, TX or Bartlesville, OK.
