Deputy Manager – TPM | PepsiCo
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at PepsiCo, a global leader in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector known for producing and marketing a diverse portfolio of iconic food and beverage brands. The Deputy Manager – TPM position is integral to the financial health and operational efficiency of our trade promotion management. This role directly contributes to the accurate processing of financial transactions, the timely reconciliation of invoices, and the strategic management of trade spend, all of which are critical for supporting our sales initiatives and maintaining robust financial controls. The individual in this role will be a key player in ensuring fiscal integrity and optimizing our investment in market tactics.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Payment Management: Oversee the processing and reconciliation of Payments/Deduction invoices, diligently monitoring for and ensuring timely approvals from various internal and external stakeholders to maintain efficient financial workflows.
• Invoice Analysis & Tactic Closure: Conduct thorough invoice analysis, breaking down spend by segmentation, and ensure the prompt and accurate closure of sales tactics following payment to maintain financial clarity and operational effectiveness.
• Trade Spend & Risk Management: Actively manage trade spend within assigned accounts, proactively communicating potential risks and opportunities identified through analysis to the Sales team, Control, and Finance departments to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Pricing & Funding Validation: Meticulously validate tactic pricing against established Pricing Grids to identify and rectify any discrepancies in accruals and invoice payments, alongside diligent tracking of funding for vendors to ensure financial accuracy.
• Process Enhancement & Automation: Ensure the consistent delivery of accurate and timely payment data in strict accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), while also driving continuous improvements and simplifications of existing processes, standardizing reporting, and championing the optimal use of technology through automation initiatives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance.
• Experience: 5-6 years of professional experience in Finance or Sales.
• Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to manage large datasets; excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and organizational skills; high proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: Prior experience with a Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company; Master’s degree is a plus.
