The Tone:
This is a hybrid full-time role at NetApp, located in either Raleigh, NC or San Jose, CA. This Financial Analyst position is critical to the G&A Finance team, providing essential support for financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and analysis for the company’s General and Administrative functions. You will collaborate with teams, tackle real-world challenges, and directly contribute to how customers transform and grow through data.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Planning: Manage the financial planning and analysis process for G&A expenses, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis.
• Partnership: Partner with department leaders to develop and manage departmental budgets, while identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency.
• Analysis: Analyze G&A expense trends and variances, providing insights and recommendations to business partners and senior management.
• Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting related to G&A expenses.
• Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years in finance or accounting, preferably with a focus on G&A expense management.
• Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to interpret complex financial data, proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Bonus: Experience with Hyperion is a plus; experience with process improvement, including identifying inefficiencies, streamlining workflows, and supporting implementation of scalable solutions.
