The Tone:

• Mission: Support financial reporting execution, variance analysis, and business partnership for Amazon’s Global Logistics Inbound Network.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Report: Support the weekly US/NA Weekly Business Review (WBR) process end-to-end by pulling data, building bridges, running variance analysis, and preparing the reporting package accurately and on time.
• Maintain: Update standardized financial reports and dashboards for Inbound operations, ensuring consistency and data integrity across all materials.
• Analyze: Conduct variance analysis and contribute to financial narratives that explain performance drivers against plan, prior year, and prior week.
• Review: Support monthly business reviews and executive reporting packages by providing accurate, well-structured analysis to leadership.
• Model: Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning, and various ad hoc analytical requests.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science).
• Experience: 1+ years of finance experience, 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience, 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses, experience using data to influence business decisions, and experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting.
• Skills: Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL, and VBA.
• Bonus: 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects to scale and improve controllership with measurable results, and experience in TM1 and Data Warehouse.
