Finance Analyst I (Hybrid) | Raytheon

This is a hybrid role at Raytheon, with options to work from Tucson, AZ; McKinney, TX; Tewksbury, MA; or Andover, MA. As a Finance Analyst I, you will be part of a critical finance organization that enables program execution, ensures financial stewardship, and supports the delivery of mission-critical capabilities across various functions.

• Team: Works within the Finance organization, supporting cross-functional teams including Program Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Contracts, and assisting senior team members.
• Mission: To ensure financial excellence and disciplined execution by performing foundational financial tasks, supporting data accuracy, and preparing standard reports for mission-critical programs.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Report Generation: Prepare standard financial reports and metrics utilizing provided tools and guidance, contributing to financial excellence.
• Data Management: Conduct basic financial transactions and extract necessary data from systems, ensuring accuracy through validation and organization for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes.
• Team Support: Support senior team members by assisting with reconciliations, variance explanations, and various administrative financial tasks.
• Presentation & Analysis: Assist in the creation and maintenance of spreadsheets, charts, and presentations, and apply problem-solving methods to simple process issues.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with internal team members to meet customer requirements and appropriately raise any issues or concerns to supervisors or senior staff.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, Business, or a related field. This is an early career role.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. This experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
• Skills: Foundational financial analysis skills, proficiency in data entry, validation, and organization, general math and spreadsheet abilities, and a proven ability to pay close attention to detail.
• Bonus: Exposure to team projects or internships involving finance or business analysis, experience in creating basic presentations, financial tables, or data visualizations, and an understanding of top-level procedures, key metrics, or basic financial concepts.
