What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting & KPIs: Prepare, maintain, and distribute recurring financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicator (KPI) tracking for both Finance and business partners.
• In-Depth Analysis: Analyze revenue, costs, margins, working capital, and other financial and operational drivers to proactively identify trends, potential risks, and emerging opportunities.
• Variance Investigation & Communication: Perform detailed variance analysis and investigate unusual financial results, data gaps, or inconsistencies, then communicate these findings in clear, concise, and actionable summaries.
• Tool & Model Enhancement: Maintain and continuously improve financial models, templates, and reporting tools that are used to support comprehensive analysis, crucial decision-making, and accurate budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Planning & Forecasting Support: Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, as well as critical budgeting and forecasting processes, by preparing necessary analyses, validating input data, and meticulously documenting all underlying assumptions.
• Data Integrity & Reconciliation: Reconcile and validate financial and operational data across various source systems, reports, and business submissions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Business Partnering & Insights: Collaborate with Accounting and business partners to understand financial results, address inquiries, and provide financial expertise to support informed decision-making.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of professional experience specifically in Accounting, Finance, or Financial Analysis roles. Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities is preferred for this position.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access, demonstrating both strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. The role requires the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities effectively, and collaborate successfully within a team environment. Professional proficiency in English is also required.
• Bonus: Experience creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Excel macros; knowledge of Baan ERP systems; and practical experience using financial reporting, data analysis, automation, or AI-enabled tools to enhance financial processes.
