The TL;DR

• Mission: Gain practical experience in finance and general accounting functions by contributing to real-world projects and reporting processes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting & Analysis: Create, document, and maintain monthly management reports, including performing ad hoc financial analysis and follow-up.
• Reconciliation: Improve and maintain balance sheet reconciliations for multiple branches and complete BPC to Oracle reconciliations.
• Journal Entries: Complete monthly journal entries and submit month-end financials utilizing Oracle and BPC software.
• Module Closures: Execute month-end module closes for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Fixed Assets.
• Account Management: Assist in the Chart of Account process by adding and mapping accounts within Oracle.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing seeking a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with a Finance/Accounting Concentration or equivalent.
• Experience: Ability to commit to Doosan Bobcat for the entire 4-month internship term, along with basic computer skills.
• Skills: Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a self-starter who will independently investigate problems.
