Job Description: Qualcomm Finance & Accounting Internship (Summer 2025)
Qualcomm is seeking interns for its Finance & Accounting department for the Summer 2025 program. This internship offers a chance to gain practical experience within a leading technology company. The internship is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of company operations and financial processes.
Responsibilities may include:
• Developing an understanding of company operations and reporting tools/practices.
• Assisting with the preparation of management and executive presentations.
• Working on challenging projects that offer practical experience.
• Conducting market research and data collection to enhance market and competitive intelligence.
• Contributing to business analytics, research, data gathering, and financial analysis.
• Providing financial support to various departments.
• Assisting with day-to-day accounting functions.
• Participating in the quarterly close process.
• Completing ad-hoc and specialized projects.
• Participating in an intern group project (a SWOT analysis on an emerging technology).
Minimum Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Must be a junior (3rd-year student) and graduating after the senior year (4th year).
• Must be available for a 3-month internship during Summer 2025 (May-September), with a graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026.
• Demonstrated strong interest in corporate finance and/or accounting.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Interest in Qualcomm’s 3-year finance rotation program post-graduation.
• Experience in research, data gathering, and financial analysis.
• Familiarity with financial reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Oracle).
• Candidates graduating within the year (December 2025 to June 2026) are preferred.
