What You’ll Actually Do
• Material Oversight: Meticulously inspect raw materials both before and after the punching process, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications for subsequent steps. This also involves the responsible retrieval of necessary materials from storage areas and their organized return once processing is complete, maintaining an orderly work environment.
• Efficiency and Pre-Cutting: Actively optimize the utilization of materials by accurately pre-cutting them to the precise dimensions required for particular preform sizes. This minimizes waste and maximizes resource efficiency for the Adhesive Technologies products.
• Inventory Integrity and SAP Reporting: Precisely report all material usage and execute necessary SAP transactions to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory records. This critical task supports supply chain management and prevents discrepancies in stock levels.
• Operational Support and Troubleshooting: Perform minor troubleshooting on machinery as needed to address operational issues, ensuring continuous workflow and minimizing downtime in the production process.
• Safety Compliance: Diligently adhere to all established safety procedures and protocols, fostering a secure working environment and contributing to Henkel’s commitment to workplace safety.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a high school diploma, be a technical school graduate, or hold a General Education Diploma (GED), providing a foundational understanding for the responsibilities of this role.
• Experience: Bring preferred experience from manufacturing, warehouse, or food industry environments, demonstrating familiarity with operational processes, safety standards, and material handling practices common in production settings.
• Skills: Exhibit computer proficiency, including the ability to operate standard software and potentially learn specialized systems relevant to inventory management and reporting.
• Bonus: Ideally, have experience with SAP, utilizing its functionalities for transactions and reporting to support inventory integrity and material tracking efforts.
