The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Mission: Conduct field and laboratory testing of construction materials, specifically concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates, to support consulting projects.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Conduct: Perform a variety of sampling and testing procedures for key construction materials such as concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates, operating under the direct guidance of senior staff.
• Support: Provide comprehensive assistance to other field and laboratory personnel, actively contributing to various ongoing tasks and project assignments.
• Transport: Manage the logistics of moving essential equipment, critical material specimens, and important documents efficiently to field personnel, the laboratory, clients, or other company offices.
• Set Up: Offer direct physical assistance in the accurate and safe setup of testing equipment at diverse testing sites.
• Maintain: Ensure a consistently clean and organized work environment by thoroughly cleaning equipment, company vehicles, and designated work areas, upholding safety and operational standards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a high school diploma and be actively pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant scientific or related field, such as Environmental Science, Safety, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or Geology.
• Experience: No prior professional experience is explicitly required, as this position is designed for students seeking practical experience.
• Skills: Demonstrate the ability to accurately perform sampling and testing procedures for construction materials and offer physical assistance for equipment setup and transport.
• Bonus: Ideal candidates will be in the final stages of their academic journey, with less than one year remaining to complete their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree.
