Job Description
FedEx Intern
As a FedEx Intern, you will engage in projects designed to provide valuable, real-world experience within a professional environment, directly related to your field of study.
Essential Functions
- Present and deliver long-term solutions that will have significant impacts on the business and/or customer experience.
- Participate in various networking and and/or community service events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Currently enrolled student or recent college graduate (within 6 months of graduation) at a college/university obtaining a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Degree: Business Degree or related discipline.
Minimum Experience
No experience required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to work productively, both independently and as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills.
- Time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.
- Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate across business units and to all levels of management.
- Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Aviation degree path and have completed the private pilot license.
- Basic understanding of airline language, FAA guidelines, and flights.
Pay Transparency
Pay: Salary is $25/hour for undergraduates and $30/hour for graduate students.
A $2,000 stipend is available for those relocating over 50 miles for an on-site or hybrid internship or co-op experience.
