About Interco:
Interco has been recycling computers, batteries, metals, and electronics since 1996, focusing on innovation and integrity. They specialize in placing smelter-ready materials for commercial, industrial, dealer, and government organizations nationwide. Their recycling facilities are divided into nonferrous metals (Madison, IL), computers and electronics (Edwardsville, IL), and a commercial department (St. Louis, MO). Job Description:
Interco is seeking a Fall Software Development Intern to join its development team and contribute to Enterprise Resource Planning projects. The ideal candidate will have strong frontend skills and experience with design tools like Figma and the React framework. This is a full-time, on-site position, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
• Translate Figma wireframes into responsive, interactive user interfaces
• Write clean, maintainable code for web applications using the React framework
• Proactively document features, design choices, and implementation strategies
• Collaborate with team members for API integration and to ensure user experiences align with company goals
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a technical degree
• Exposure to design tools such as Figma
• A strong eye for design and attention to detail
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React
• Proficiency with programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Additional Information:
• Compensation: $15 per hour
• Benefits: No additional benefits offered with this internship.
