The Tone:
This is a part-time, remote internship at Smile Big Network. Smile Big Network (SBN) is expanding its services and strategic partnerships across the US and Canada. This role offers significant hands-on exposure to sales, athlete relations, and sports marketing, contributing to SBN’s growth in the college sports industry. The position provides practical experience and networking opportunities within the sports world.

The TL;DR

• Type: Part-time (10-12 hrs/week, evenings/weekends as needed)

• Team: Business Development team
• Mission: This intern will gain practical experience and contribute to the Business Development team’s efforts in sales, athlete relations, and sports marketing.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Gain Practical Experience: Develop practical skills in sports marketing, NIL activations, customer service, and sales.
• Network Professionally: Connect with athletes, coaches, and industry professionals.
• Support Business Development: Assist the Business Development team with expanding services and strategic partnerships across the US and Canada.
• Contribute to Sports Marketing: Participate in initiatives related to college sports, sales, and athlete relations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Currently enrolled in a college/university program (sports management, business, communications, or related) and eligible for academic credit.
• Experience: Current college student with basic sales or retail/event experience preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
• Ability to work 10-12 hours/week, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Interest or experience in NIL, sports marketing, and sales.
• Passion for Basketball, Baseball, and Football.
• Comfort working in a team-oriented environment.
