The Tone:
This is an internship at Ivory Center, located in Chișinău, Moldova. The Ivory Center functions as a modern education and entrepreneurship hub, dedicated to providing practical training across various fields including English, business, technology, career development, and entrepreneurship. As a key partner in the Utah Moldova Business Partnership (UMBP), the organization actively strengthens Moldova’s economy through targeted education, innovation initiatives, and robust business development programs. This role offers motivated university students, specifically those based in Utah, a unique opportunity to gain valuable hands-on international experience while directly supporting and impacting entrepreneurs, local businesses, and students throughout Moldova.

• Mission: This person helps empower Moldovan entrepreneurs, businesses, and students through practical education, training, and strategic support to strengthen the local economy.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide strategic business consulting to local companies on various projects.
• Support entrepreneurship and commercial lending initiatives.
• Organize and facilitate workshops, seminars, and business conferences.
• Offer teaching assistance for English and business programs.
• Contribute to website development, technology projects, and digital marketing efforts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current university students, from freshman through senior year, who will not graduate earlier than April 2028. Applicants should be interested in fields such as business, entrepreneurship, education, marketing, communications, technology, or international development.
• Experience: No specific prior professional experience is required. Candidates should demonstrate comfort and adaptability in working within a dynamic international environment.
• Skills: Strong self-motivation, a professional demeanor, and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.
• Bonus: Prior experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React is preferred for technology-focused interns. Romanian or Russian language skills are helpful but not mandatory.
