Job Title: Fall 2025 Intern – Sales, Marketing & Event Management
Location: In-person (Downtown Chattanooga)
Compensation: $15/hour
Hours: 15 hours per week

Overview:
This internship offers an opportunity to support sales, marketing, and event planning for a purpose-driven organization. The intern will work directly with the founding team, focusing on building meaningful connections, strengthening outreach strategies, and contributing to the success of major initiatives, most notably the Big Self Leadership Summit scheduled for October 2, 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development
• Manage and send email outreach, adhering to the founder’s tone and using approved templates.
• Maintain and organize contact databases within the CRM system, Attio.
• Acquire prospective client leads by utilizing various sources such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, Chamber directories, and AI tools.
• Track all outreach activities and update their status in the CRM.
• Support competitor research and assist with positioning analysis.

Marketing & Content Creation
• Draft and schedule email newsletters.
• Create and schedule social media posts.
• Assist with podcast outreach, which includes both booking guests and conducting outbound outreach.

Administrative Support
• Manage calendars for sales and outreach activities.
• Document and organize standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Event Planning & Logistics
• Provide coordination support for the Big Self Leadership Summit, taking place on October 2, 2025.
• Assist with day-to-day planning, communications, and timeline tracking for various events.

Desired Qualities and Skills:
• A clear and warm communicator.
• Comfortable with technology, including tools like Attio, Loom, Google Suite, and AI platforms such as Claude/ChatGPT.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Eager to learn about the internal operations of a purpose-driven brand.
• Available to work in-person at the Chattanooga location.
