The Tone:
This is a full-time role at SeaWorld, located in Orlando, FL. As an Ambassador, this technician plays a vital part in the team, ensuring operational excellence.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: Orlando, FL
• Mission: Maintain the park’s facilities, attractions, and equipment to ensure operational safety, regulatory compliance, and a positive guest experience.
• Tech Stack: Multimeter, basic hand tools, drill motors, saws, forklift, man-lift, bobcat, Microsoft Office programs.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Electrical Systems Management: Perform maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, devices, motor overhauls, and maintain/troubleshoot controls, automated equipment, and monitoring devices.
• Facilities General Maintenance: Execute diverse facilities maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, repair of culinary equipment, minor concrete repair, and slide maintenance.
• Inspections and Documentation: Conduct daily inspections of all slides and flat water attractions, track maintenance for assigned areas, and complete safety, environmental, asset management, and administrative documentation.
• Safety and Environmental Compliance: Utilize safe handling, storage, and disposal practices for toxic substances and hazardous waste, adhering to company policies, SOPs, safety procedures, and environmental regulations.
• Guest and Team Support: Enthusiastically represent the organization by maintaining a positive attitude and commitment to quality, while also assisting other park locations, departments, and areas as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), have a general understanding of proper electrical wiring and troubleshooting methods, and a working knowledge of various building/installation codes and OSHA regulations.
• Experience: Requires a valid state driver’s license. A minimum of two years of maintenance, certified electrical, and/or rides maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Must be able to interpret manufacturers’ manuals, and be available to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late evenings. Flexibility in work locations is also required.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills, mathematical skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Must be proficient with hand, power, and air tools, and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Ability to ensure excellent customer service, positively interact with diverse guests and co-workers, complete green tag inspection SOP training, and perform water quality procedures (daily start-up, sampling, troubleshooting). Required certifications include AIMS or NAARSO (Level 1) and Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatics Facility Operator (AFO) within one year, and forklift, man-lift, and bobcat within 90 days.
• Bonus: Trade School education is strongly preferred.
