Position Overview:

As a Facilities Intern at MKS, you will play a crucial role in partnering with the facilities group to support operations across five different Massachusetts facilities. Reporting directly to the Facility Manager, this internship offers a hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, contributing to the essential infrastructure that supports MKS’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake and manage individual project(s) specifically designed to enhance and support the MKS facilities group.
  • Utilize CAD software to accurately verify and update various facility utility systems, including but not limited to electrical, HVAC, gas, and water piping systems.
  • Actively collaborate with the facilities group in the weekly maintenance and service aspects of all supported facilities.
  • Provide dedicated support to MKS facilities located in the Merrimack Valley of Massachusetts, spanning Andover, Haverhill, Lawrence, Methuen, and Wilmington.

Requirements:

We are seeking motivated individuals with a strong foundation in engineering or related fields. Qualified candidates should meet the following criteria:

Technical Skills & Coursework:

  • Demonstrated experience with AI integration.
  • Proficiency and experience with AutoCAD.
  • Completion of relevant courses such as Thermodynamics, Fundamentals of Engineering, or similar foundational engineering principles.

Eligibility:

  • Qualified candidates must be US Persons.

Compensation:

This position offers a competitive hourly wage, expected to be between $22 to $29 per hour.
