What You’ll Actually Do
• Machinery Operations: Set up and maintain machinery essential for pipe fabrication within the shop.
• Pipe Preparation: Accurately measure, record, and calculate quantities of random pipe lengths, then cut pipe using a band saw and/or torch.
• Fabrication Processes: Perform rolling and grooving of single and double random pipe lengths, and thread and bevel pipe using Landis machines.
• Inventory Management: Efficiently and safely move loose and/or bundled pipe within the pipe yard and assemble pipe orders.
• Safety & Maintenance: Maintain an organized work area, ensure adequate supplies, and strictly adhere to vital safety precautions during all fabrication processes, including operating powered industrial equipment in compliance with OSHA guidelines.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position focused on precision and safety in pipe fabrication operations.
• Experience: No prior fabrication experience is required.
• Skills: Demonstrated outstanding math skills, ability to accurately calculate product quantities, strong focus on results, and ability to thrive and contribute positively within an inclusive work environment.
• Bonus: Prior fabrication experience, and experience/training in operating machinery for cutting and threading pipe according to OSHA regulations.
