External Audit Intern / Trainee Job Description
As an Intern/Trainee within PwC’s External Audit services, you will be part of a team focused on providing assurance services and business advice to a diverse range of clients, from small, fast-growing businesses to large international entities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Supporting select phases of a financial statement audit.
• Contributing to select projects.
• Demonstrating creative thinking and individual initiative.
• Building strong relationships with team members.
• Proactively seeking guidance and feedback.
• Prioritizing and completing tasks effectively.
• Exercising professional skepticism.
You will be provided with opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge in areas such as:
• PwC’s business operations and value delivery to clients.
• Research, analysis, and problem-solving using various tools and techniques.
• Data analysis and information management.
• Communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ethical conduct and business practices.
Qualifications:
• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Preferred: Client service intern positions are typically filled by students in their third year of a four-year program or fourth year of a five-year program.
• Preferred: Demonstrates an interest in auditing and a desire to pursue a career in public accounting.
• Preferred: Basic knowledge of financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, and financial reporting systems.
• Preferred: Proven ability to research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters.
• Preferred: Experience with problem-solving, prioritizing, managing multiple tasks, interacting with various levels of leadership, and self-motivation.

$30.75 – $40.75, dependent on experience and location.
