Executive Producer – Brand Creative | Mercury

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Mercury, located in Remote, New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, or Canada. The Brand Creative team exists to bring this ambition to life, and this Executive Producer will establish Creative Production as a core capability within Brand Creative, leading ambitious campaigns and building systems for exceptional work.

• Mission: Establish and lead Creative Production as a core capability within Brand Creative, ensuring the repeatable delivery of exceptional creative work across ambitious campaigns and projects.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Production Ownership: Own production across Brand Creative campaigns and projects, balancing priorities, capacity, staffing, budgets, timelines, and risk across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Project Leadership: Personally lead the most ambitious campaigns and selected projects from concept through delivery across film, photography, motion, experiential, digital, and integrated work.
• Strategic Partnership: Partner with creative leaders to transform ambitious ideas into production plans that hold up against timing, budget, and reality, challenging underdeveloped briefs and protecting the creative idea.
• Network Building: Build and lead an exceptional external network of agencies, directors, studios, photographers, freelancers, and production partners.
• System Establishment: Establish how Brand Creative prioritizes, staffs, greenlights, reviews, and delivers projects, creating a production system that makes exceptional work more repeatable.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level professional with significant experience in complex, multidisciplinary creative production, who views production as a creative discipline.
• Experience: A track record of independently owning large-scale campaigns and multiple concurrent creative projects, with deep production experience across film, photography, motion, experiential, digital, and integrated brand work. Proven experience building production systems, capabilities, or ways of working, and managing an exceptional network of external production partners.
• Skills: Strong financial and operational judgment for scoping, staffing, budgeting, forecasting, and managing significant production investments. Strong creative judgment to challenge briefs, protect ambitious ideas, and make difficult tradeoffs. Exceptional communication and partnership skills across creative teams, marketers, executives, and external partners.
• Bonus: An excitement to build the function from the ground up while still personally producing the work.
