Events Coordinator & Sourcing Intern | Tesla
The Tone:
This is an internship at Tesla, located in Long Island, NY. This role is crucial for identifying, planning, and supporting events throughout the Northeast territory. The selected intern will ensure these events align with Tesla’s brand identity, business goals, and market priorities, playing a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s presence. The position requires a detail-oriented and motivated individual focused on effective event execution and brand representation.

• Mission: This intern identifies, plans, and supports events throughout the Northeast territory that align with Tesla’s brand, business goals, and market priorities.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Source & Evaluate: Research, evaluate, and source event opportunities across the Northeast region, ensuring alignment with Tesla’s brand identity and business objectives.
• Plan & Execute: Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing local and regional events, ensuring seamless logistics and consistent brand representation.
• Support Marketing & Reporting: Support event marketing initiatives, including outreach and promotional material development, and provide post-event reporting and performance tracking.
• Collaborate & Build Relationships: Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and build strong relationships with event vendors, partners, and venue representatives to maintain corporate alignment.
• Provide Administrative Support: Offer administrative assistance to the events and marketing teams as needed.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Actively enrolled in an academic program. This internship is specifically for students returning to school after the internship concludes, not for recent graduates seeking full-time employment. A minimum commitment of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, is required.
• Skills:
• Ability to measure ROI and event impact post-activation, covering metrics like lead generation, engagement, cost, and brand visibility.
• Strong strategic ability to source and evaluate potential event opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to multitask effectively.
• Tech-savvy, adaptable, and resourceful, particularly in dynamic environments.
• Must be based on Long Island, NY, and possess flexibility to travel extensively within the Northeast territory.
• Bonus: Prior experience in event coordination, marketing, or communications, acquired through previous internships or professional roles.
