Role Summary: Equity Research Summer Internship Program

The Equity Research Summer Internship program is a ten-week undergraduate internship designed to provide associates with a comprehensive experience in the investment management industry. The primary goal of the internship is to evaluate the associate’s potential to return after graduation for our full-time Associate Analyst program. Rising juniors who demonstrate strong performance will be eligible for return internship offers for the following summer.

Key Opportunities and Responsibilities:
• Conduct fundamental research on an assigned industry and 1 – 2 companies within that industry.
• Receive training and mentorship from our experienced investment platform.
Analyze financial statements, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
• Build 3-statement financial models to inform investment recommendations.
• Provide strategic investment insights, moving beyond mere number crunching.
• Present investment ratings and recommendations to senior investment professionals.

Qualifications

Required:
• Minimum sophomore status (2025-2026 school year) at an accredited four-year university.
• A strong academic record with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
• Undergraduate students matriculating (graduating) between December 2026 and June 2028 are eligible to apply.

Preferred:
• Strong interest in the markets and equity research.
• Strong academic background and demonstrated intellectual curiosity.
• Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

FINRA Requirements:
• FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Authorization:
• Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States (e.g., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa, or any other non-immigrant work status).

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, allowing for up to one day per week from home.

What To Expect After Applying

1. Eligibility Verification (3-5 minutes): You will receive an email and text message prompting you to answer a few questions to verify your eligibility. If you apply for multiple jobs, you will receive separate invitations for each role and will need to respond to each.

Base Salary Ranges

The base salary for this internship is consistent across specified locations:
$90,000 – $90,000 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$90,000 – $90,000 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$90,000 – $90,000 for the location of: New York, California

Placement within this range is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
