Environmental Scientist Intern | DRMP

The Tone:
This is an internship at DRMP, located in Orlando, FL. DRMP provides students with real-world experience and hands-on application to solidify their decision to become an environmental professional. This role offers students a chance to gain practical experience while earning their degree and exploring a potential career path within environmental science. The internship aims to provide a strong foundation for future environmental professionals, with potential for full-time employment upon graduation.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Surveys: Assist with protected species wildlife surveys.
• Evaluations: Perform wetland verification and evaluation.
• Documentation: Prepare environmental technical documents.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree program in Environmental Studies or Biology.
• Experience: Valid driver’s license with an approved and acceptable driving history.
• Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines; detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
• Bonus: GIS capabilities preferred.
