• Team: Natural Resources and Permitting Business Unit, mentored by experienced engineers and environmental scientists.
• Mission: To apply academic knowledge to practical environmental services for infrastructure projects, aiding in natural resource evaluations and regulatory compliance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Field Support: Conduct field and office assignments pertaining to wetlands, streams, protected species, and permitting.
• Report Preparation: Participate in preparing and assembling sections and attachments for environmental reports.
• Data Management: Collect, tabulate, and conduct basic reviews of environmental sampling results and compliance tracking information.
• Document Creation: Aid in preparing project documents including reports, letters, charts, tables, photo logs, and permit forms.
• Regulatory Research: Conduct preliminary regulatory research to support federal and state permit applications.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Environmental Science, Biology, Wildlife Management, Ecology, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated interest in natural resources, wildlife, ecology, regulations, and environmental consulting; ability to work effectively in both field and office environments; valid Driver’s License with the ability to travel to project sites.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word); willingness to learn and engage in projects.
