Position Details:
- Type: Unarmed Security Officer Positions
- Pay Range: $16.75 – $21.00 per hour
- Schedules: Full-Time and Part-Time positions available, with all shifts including weekends.
Key Responsibilities of a Security Officer:
As a Security Officer/Guard with Securitas, you will be responsible for:
- Observing and reporting activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
- Ensuring the security and safety of client property and personnel.
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods.
- Potentially involving climbing stairs, walking up inclines, and on uneven terrain.
- Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, with frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Background Checks: Must pass a lifetime background check and a drug test.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills are essential.
- Professionalism: Must maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
- Appearance Policy: Visible body piercing accessories or visible tattoos are not permitted, unless specifically authorized.
- Customer Service: Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Licensing: Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
