Key Responsibilities (Upon Training Completion)

  • Performing the assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of various aircraft component sub-assemblies.
  • Following detailed work instructions, blueprints, and technical specifications with precision.
  • Utilizing various hand and power tools safely and effectively according to established procedures.
  • Ensuring all work meets stringent quality control standards and regulatory requirements specific to FAA guidelines.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times to uphold operational efficiency and safety.
  • Actively participating in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience (0-5 years) in a mechanical, technical, or manufacturing environment is desirable. However, we strongly encourage candidates with a basic mechanical aptitude and a strong willingness to learn, as initial, comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Education: A High School Diploma or GED is a mandatory prerequisite for this role.
  • Skills & Aptitude:
    • Basic mechanical skills and a foundational understanding of tools and machinery are highly desirable.
    • A strong willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies specific to aircraft components.
    • Demonstrated ability to work neatly, precisely, and with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Commitment to strict safety protocols and unwavering quality standards.
  • Pre-employment Requirement: Successful completion of a pre-employment FAA Drug Test is strictly required for this position due to the highly regulated nature of the aerospace industry.
