This role is a succession-planning opportunity, critical to supporting the financial operations of the organization and offering a clear path toward increased responsibility and future accounting leadership within the department.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounting Management: Oversee financial transactions and activities across multiple construction projects.
• Invoice Processing: Handle construction-related invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
• Cost Control: Perform job cost coding and monitor project-specific expenditures.
• Vendor Payments: Administer construction accounts payable and manage vendor payment processes.
• Compliance Assurance: Review and maintain Certificates of Insurance (COIs), lien waivers, and other vendor compliance documentation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Strong foundation in accounting or finance principles.
• Experience: 0-2+ years of accounting experience.
• Skills: Construction accounting activities, invoice processing, job cost coding, accounts payable administration, financial record maintenance.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; strong construction accounting experience.
