What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements and assist with federal, state, and local tax return preparation.
• Technology Utilization: Employ modern accounting technology to ensure high-quality results and adherence to firm practice management guidelines.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate proactively with team members, managers, supervisors, and clients regarding project status and questions.
• Project Management: Manage timelines, schedules, and budgets while meeting client expectations and following quality-control procedures.
• Professional Development: Stay current on professional standards, firm policies, and learn key pronouncements from FASB, AICPA, GAO, and GASB.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, with CPA eligibility. This role is for new or soon-to-be graduates.
• Experience: Less than one year of professional experience, coupled with progress toward CPA certification.
• Skills: A tech-savvy mindset, confidence in using Microsoft Office and accounting software, strong communication skills, a professional presence, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
