What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare tax returns: Prepare individual, fiduciary, partnership, not-for-profit, and corporate income tax returns, receiving constructive feedback from supervisors.
• Project taxes: Prepare tax projections to assist clients in minimizing taxes and determining quarterly estimated tax payments.
• Research issues: Research tax and accounting issues, then effectively communicate the analysis and conclusion to relevant parties.
• Perform audits: Perform audit, review, and compilation procedures, and prepare financial statements with a general understanding of the underlying standards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position requiring a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Accounting or Taxation.
• Experience: 0-2 years of tax and/or audit experience, with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
• Skills: Understanding of professionalism, technical excellence, and commitment to high industry standards; flexibility in a fast-paced work environment; capability for investigation, analysis, and problem-solving.
• Bonus: Must be working towards or have already met the 150-semester unit requirement for CPA licensure; a CPA license is a plus.
