The City of Danbury Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Entry Level Police Officer.

The City of Danbury currently employs 160 sworn Officers and offers a large variety of specialty units/positions. Danbury Police Officers receive comprehensive health benefits, a pension, and a generous salary range (at the rank of Police Officer) currently at $68,499.00 to $97,325.00 before incentives and extra duty opportunities.

Commonly referred to as “Hat City”, Danbury is located on the New York border, with a total population of approximately 90,000 spread over 44 square miles.
