Job Title: Entry Level NDT Technician

Location: Tulsa, OK (Embedded Position)

Acuren is actively seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Entry Level NDT Technicians in Tulsa, OK. This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to start a career in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) within a leading company in asset protection solutions. This will be an embedded position, meaning you will work directly within a client’s facility.

Job Summary:

As an NDT Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by assisting in the performance of calibrations, various Nondestructive Tests, and evaluations. Your work will ensure that materials and structures meet acceptance or rejection criteria according to written instructions, with meticulous record-keeping of all results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Operation: Set up and effectively utilize Nondestructive Test equipment to perform inspections.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record and document the results of all inspections performed.
  • Procedural Assistance: Provide support during NDT procedures, including carrying equipment and assisting with other operational tasks as needed.
  • Task Management: Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned by management, contributing to the overall efficiency of the team.

Requirements:

  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
    • Some college education is preferred.
  • Experience/Background:
    • A technical background is desired.
    • Must possess the necessary experience, credentials, and history to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable, complying with federal and state regulations. This will be determined through a comprehensive background check.
  • Driving Record: Your Motor Vehicle Driving record must meet company standards to qualify for driving company vehicles.
  • Screenings: MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG/ALCOHOL AND BACKGROUND SCREENS PER CLIENT REQUIREMENTS.
