DaVita’s Outpatient Hemodialysis Clinic in Boston is actively seeking an Entry-Level Medical Office Assistant to become a valuable member of our compassionate healthcare team. As the primary point of contact for our clinic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and positive experience for patients and their families. In this supportive and hands-on position, you will acquire essential medical office skills while contributing to the smooth daily operations of the clinic.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and provide assistance to patients and visitors with professionalism and dedicated care.
• Contribute to maintaining accurate patient records, treatment logs, and charts.
• Support various administrative tasks, including processing invoices, purchase orders, and change requests.
• Assist patients with transportation coordination and scheduling physician appointments.
• Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative staff within a dynamic, fast-paced medical environment.

• Proficiency in basic computer and clerical skills, including experience with Microsoft Office.
• A high school diploma or GED is a mandatory requirement.
• Previous medical or administrative experience is beneficial but not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
• Comfort working within a medical setting, which may include occasional exposure to medical emergencies and bodily fluids.

Schedule

• Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

This position necessitates working every other Saturday. When scheduled on a Saturday, you will be granted one weekday off during that same week.

The Wage Range for this role is $18.50 – $29.00/hour.
