Entry Level Field Laborer

We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable individual to join our team as an Entry Level Field Laborer. This role is fundamental to maintaining safe and efficient job site operations, primarily involving earthwork, site maintenance, and general labor tasks. The ideal candidate will be reliable, able to perform demanding physical work, and committed to adhering to all safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain haul roads and entrances by watering them down for effective dust control.
• Perform dirt hauling and moving for various job-specific tasks as directed.
• Assist in compacting haul roads to ensure stability and safety for daily use.
• Execute a variety of tasks involving physical labor across different job sites.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and consistently perform tasks such as carrying, standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday.
• Safety Compliance: Must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as mandated by the company’s safety manual and OSHA regulations.
• Work Schedule: Ability to work weekends when requested by the Foreman.
• Communication: Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly with the Foreman and other team members.
• Transportation: Must possess reliable transportation to travel to and from various job sites.
• Job Site Travel: Be prepared for job sites that may range anywhere from 10 to 80 miles in one direction.
• Drug Policy: Must be DRUG FREE. Medical Drug cards are NOT accepted.

Work Environment

• Work is performed under a variety of field and weather conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, rain, and dust.
