Event Assistant | Nonsense

The Tone:
This is an onsite, entry-level role at Nonsense, focused on managing event marketing promotions work. Paid training will be provided to help the successful candidate integrate into the team and understand the company’s operations. The organization aims to build its brand and significantly raise brand awareness with target audiences. This role is crucial for bringing a fresh approach to the office vibe, working across all levels and departments to identify what makes Nonsense unique, and communicating it effectively to the world. Ultimately, this position will uncover consumer insights and deliver marketing campaigns to drive sales, improve customer experience, enhance the company’s reputation, and support overall growth and revenue.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Sales & Brand Positioning: Drive sales growth by implementing strategic brand positioning initiatives and effectively managing assigned territories.
• Brand Communication & Strategy: Shape and communicate the company’s vision and mission through public speaking and one-on-one presentations, translating core brand elements into actionable plans and go-to-market strategies.
• Campaign Management: Lead creative development efforts to motivate the target audience to “take action,” and oversee both new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities.
• Performance Analysis: Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, and sales estimates, then measure and report the performance of all marketing campaigns, diligently assessing ROI and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Market & Consumer Insights: Monitor market trends, conduct thorough research on consumer markets and competitors’ activities, track product distribution and consumer reactions, and devise effective growth strategies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position requiring a degree in marketing or a closely related field.
• Experience: Ability to receive structured training and coaching in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns. The role requires handling fieldwork and a high volume of in-person interactions. Prior experience in implementing targeted brand campaigns is sought for success in this role.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong analytical skills coupled with a creative mind, data-driven thinking with an affinity for numbers, and outstanding communication skills. Candidates should be up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and best practices.
