Event Assistant | Nonsense

The Tone:
This is an onsite role at Nonsense, focused on managing event marketing promotions. The company is seeking an entry-level professional to help build its brand and raise awareness with target audiences. This position is vital for bringing a fresh perspective, uncovering consumer insights, and delivering unique marketing campaigns that drive sales. Ultimately, this role will contribute to improving the company’s reputation, growth, and revenue.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Brand Strategy & Growth: Drive sales growth by leading strategic brand positioning, translating brand elements into actionable go-to-market strategies, and devising novel growth strategies to align the company around the brand’s direction.
• Communication & Creative Direction: Shape and communicate the company’s vision and mission through public speaking and impactful one-on-one presentations, while leading creative development to motivate target audiences to take action.
• Marketing Operations & Team Management: Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities, including monitoring product distribution and consumer reactions, and manage a team of marketing professionals working on brand initiatives.
• Performance & Market Analysis: Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications, and sales estimates, alongside measuring and reporting the performance of all marketing campaigns with ROI and KPI assessments, and monitoring market trends, consumer markets, and competitor activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An entry-level professional with a degree in marketing or a related field, bringing a fresh approach to the office environment.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to receive training and coaching in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns. Must be capable of handling fieldwork and a high volume of in-person interactions. Experience in implementing targeted brand campaigns is also sought.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills paired with a creative mind, data-driven thinking with an affinity for numbers, outstanding communication skills, and being up-to-date with the latest trends and marketing best practices.
