Entry-Level Estimator – Metal Building Industry

Location: Englewood, CO (On-Site Only – Not a Remote Position)

Job Type: Full-time

Summary

Armstrong Steel, a leading manufacturer of pre-engineered metal buildings, is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Estimator to join its growing team. The successful candidate will assist in estimating buildings using MBS (Metal Building Software) and ensure that all inputs, outputs, and customer requirements align with design contracts.

Essential Functions

  • Review MBS job inputs, including building codes, loads, openings, and other specifications.
  • Perform the initial design of buildings before final review by a Professional Engineer, incorporating any necessary revisions.
  • Adapt to additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, ensuring flexibility in a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Familiarity with MBS software is a plus.
  • Experience reading blueprints and architectural plans is beneficial.
  • Strong mathematical skills are advantageous.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and passionate about success.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must reside in or around Englewood, CO (this is an on-site position).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Pay: $18 – $22 per hour (based on experience).
