Job Description – Entry-Level Engineer
Peraton is seeking entry-level engineers with a passion for STEM and a desire to contribute to national security. This is a pipeline position designed to collect applications from upcoming graduates with expected graduation dates in December 2024 or May/June 2025. The position is open to candidates with various engineering degrees, including:
• Systems Engineering
• Computer Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Aerospace Engineering
• Mathematics
• Other related fields
Responsibilities:
• Systems Integration: Engineers will work as system integrators, ensuring mission success by integrating across all systems and capabilities. They will focus on improving enterprise effectiveness, efficiency, and innovation.
• Engineering Support: Provide engineering support for the design, development, testing, and evaluation of computer components, equipment, and intelligence collection systems.
• Project Development Lifecycle Support: Participate in all phases of the project development lifecycle, from conception planning to requirements construction, contractor oversight, testing, inspection, and operational deployment.
Qualifications:
Required:
• US Citizenship
• BS/BA or MS/MA degree in a relevant field with an expected graduation date in December 2024 or May/June 2025
• 0-2 years of experience through coursework or internships
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (if applicable)
• Passion for learning, helping others, and contributing to the mission
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt and learn new technologies and concepts
• Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, and a team player
Desired:
• Previous hands-on internship experience in related field
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office
• Active government security clearance
Target Salary Range: $66,000 – $106,000 (based on experience and other factors)
