What You’ll Actually Do
• Successfully complete the PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee program, ensuring all training documentation is accurately maintained.
• Perform all required pre and post-trip safety checks and inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Drive predetermined local routes to deliver and unload various food and food-related products into designated customer storage areas.
• Complete accurate daily records of hours of service and all associated freight paperwork, including customer invoices and returns.
• Communicate and interact professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers while executing deliveries and related duties.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Experience: 0-12 months commercial driving experience.
• Skills: Valid CDL-B (Commercial Driver’s License – Class B); Must be 21+ years of age; Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years; Ability to pass post-offer drug test, criminal background check, and road test; Attains or holds a valid current DOT Health Card; Physical capability to hand-lift and move product cases ranging from 10-90 pounds throughout the shift.
