Job Description:

This is an entry-level position in Contracts Management. You will be responsible for negotiating, administering, extending, terminating, and renegotiating both standard and non-standard contracts. You will also evaluate contract performance to determine the need for amendments or extensions, ensure compliance with contractual obligations, and maintain communication for timely implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Negotiate and Administer Contracts: Negotiate and administer standard and non-standard contracts.
Contract Performance Evaluation: Evaluate contract performance to determine if amendments, extensions, or terminations are necessary.
Contract Compliance: Ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Communication and Implementation: Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely contract implementation.
Document Management: Ensure final contract documents accurately reflect the agreements reached during negotiations.
Training: Potentially participate in training programs on contract practices and negotiations for company personnel.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, international studies, legal, or a related field.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to learn and utilize other software applications necessary for the job.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Desired Skills:
• Ability to analyze both financial and contractual data to make informed business decisions.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to work independently and take on increasing responsibility.
• Strong business acumen for negotiating business deals with customers.

Security Clearance:

Required: US Citizenship and a government security clearance (Secret level).

Additional Information:

Work Location: Part-time remote telework with a designated Lockheed Martin facility for the remainder of the work schedule.
Schedule: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
