Entry Level Commercial/Multi-Family HVAC Quotations Coordinator | Ferguson

The Tone:
This is an early career hybrid role at Ferguson, located in Raleigh, NC, Nashville, TN, and/or Newport News, VA. This role is crucial in helping Ferguson make customers’ complex projects simple by developing accurate commercial plumbing quotes and providing essential support to sales teams nationwide.

The TL;DR
• Role: Early Career
• Type: Hybrid, 3 days in office / 2 days remote; No Nights and Weekends!
• Location: Hybrid, Raleigh, NC; Nashville, TN; Newport News, VA
• Pay: $15.00–$27.50 hourly
• Team: National Quotations department, supporting sales teams across various markets nationwide.
• Mission: Develop precise commercial plumbing quotes and provide vital support to national sales teams.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Teams, Outlook

What You’ll Actually Do
• Quotation Development: Develop comprehensive quotations based on specific branch preferences, including manufacturers, profit margins, and other detailed specifications.
• Material Identification: Accurately identify all relevant materials to be quoted after completing comprehensive training.
• Relationship Management: Maintain strong and positive relationships with both customers and vendors through effective interaction and negotiation.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively within a team setting to achieve departmental goals and collectively resolve business critical issues.
• Process Adherence: Organize and file inbound emails and attachments into designated project folders while utilizing and maintaining established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career role, with comprehensive training provided to develop expertise in commercial plumbing quotations.
• Experience: Willingness to train the right candidate; no prior experience is strictly required, though preferred experience includes commercial/multi-family HVAC knowledge, quotation experience, and/or Inside Sales.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite, particularly Teams and Outlook; strong written and verbal communication skills; strong computer and typing skills (40+ WPM); well organized, detail-oriented, and excellent time-management skills; ability to thrive in a highly deadline-driven environment.
• Bonus: Commercial/multi-family HVAC knowledge, quotation experience, and/or Inside Sales experience; ability to be flexible and adaptable, navigating priorities based on last-minute changes; displays a high level of integrity and professionalism.
