Entry Level Business Entrepreneurship And Development Associate | Harvest Events

The Tone:
This is a full-time, on-site role at Harvest Events, located in the United States. Harvest Events builds, trains, and deploys field event sales teams dedicated to increasing the fundraising impact of nonprofit organizations. This role is crucial because it helps create memorable, mission-aligned events that effectively connect supporters with causes they care about. By doing so, the associate enables nonprofits to reach new donors, deepen existing relationships, and ensure events reflect the organization’s vision while delivering measurable results.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Campaign Support: Support the planning and execution of field event sales campaigns for nonprofit clients.
• Event Logistics: Coordinate event logistics, engaging with supporters, and assisting with onsite fundraising activities.
• Partner Relationships: Help build and maintain relationships with partner organizations, ensuring each event reflects their vision while delivering measurable results.
• Performance & Strategy: Gather and report key performance metrics, and contribute ideas to improve event strategy and supporter engagement.
• Team Collaboration & Learning: Collaborate closely with team members, learn best practices in business development and event-based fundraising, and support administrative tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and follow-up communications.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an Entry-Level role. Candidates must possess a clear interest in business development, entrepreneurship, and nonprofit fundraising, coupled with a strong desire to learn and grow in a client-facing environment.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required. Comfort working in on-site event settings is essential, including flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as necessitated by event schedules.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to engage supporters and build positive relationships in an event environment. Excellent organizational and time management abilities are critical, including meticulous attention to detail and the capability to handle multiple tasks effectively during busy event periods. A collaborative mindset is essential, with the ability to work effectively in teams and take direction from managers and senior staff. Basic proficiency with common office and communication tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations) and a willingness to learn new systems is required. Must exhibit a high level of professionalism, reliability, and strong alignment with the mission of supporting nonprofit organizations.
• Bonus: An Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is beneficial. Relevant volunteer or work experience in events or customer service is considered a significant plus.
