• Mission: Ensure the quality and precision of dental records and models, directly supporting patient case preparation and lab efficiency.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Quality Control: Perform thorough quality checks on all incoming dental records, including patient pick-ups, physical models, and critical bite registrations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Case Preparation: Efficiently review the daily schedule and familiarize yourself with all assigned cases for the day, proactively preventing any potential confusion or delays in the workflow.
• Equipment Management: Regularly conduct necessary equipment maintenance and perform weekly scanner calibrations, alongside updating the software to ensure optimal performance and longevity of tools.
• Team Collaboration: Maintain clear and effective communication with both the Central Manager and the broader office team, addressing issues promptly and facilitating seamless lab operations.
• Mentorship & Support: Provide hands-on training and guidance to new SML MKRs when necessary, fostering a supportive learning environment with a positive and helpful attitude.
• Operational Support: Assist with various physical tasks such as lifting, building, organizing, and opening boxes containing chairs, tables, and work tools, while always adhering to proper safety protocols and utilizing appropriate equipment.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional eager to begin a career in dental lab technology, with no specific prior academic degree required for this specialized role.
• Experience: No previous experience in a dental lab or related field is necessary, as this role includes a comprehensive two-month paid training program designed to teach all required skills.
• Skills: Fluency in both English and Spanish is mandatory for effective communication within a diverse team; ability to maintain a professional presentation in accordance with Nuvia’s dress code.
• Commitment: Willingness to travel to a designated training center (Utah, Texas, Florida, or Johnston, RI) for intensive hands-on training, with all travel, living accommodations, and transportation expenses covered; flexibility to work various shifts, including overnight or day shifts, as operational needs dictate.
